Teacher Ginger

Ginger took her 1st yoga class in 2005 and immediately fell in love with the practice. She took her first yoga teacher training in Hawaii and became a certified Bikram yoga instructor in 2007. She has then taught in studios in the US and Asia during her travels, founded Evolve Yoga and Fitness in 2010, and furthered her knowledge in yoga as she took the Baptiste Live Your Yoga teacher training in Hong Kong in 2015.
In 2016, she expanded her brand and opened Evolve Yoga & Fitness in BGC, and in 2020, she once again immersed herself and trained with Inferno Hot Pilates amidst the pandemic.
Nowadays, Ginger enjoys teaching private and group classes in the South and remotely for Hot Yoga Waikiki and HYPE – Ewa Beach. She has also recently launched Evolve Yoga & Wellness, which focuses on curating unique experiences and guidance for wellness retreat enthusiasts.
Throughout the different disciplines that make up her practice and teaching style, Ginger is a big believer in leading by example, and strives for her students to have an overall sense of wellness, control, and empowerment on, and more importantly, off the the mat.

Fairy Ng is a dedicated mom and yoga teacher with a background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having worked as an auditor at Sycip Gorres Velayo (SGV). Her journey into yoga began after a knee injury from her athletic pursuits, leading her to Bikram yoga. Within months, her injuries healed, and her practice deepened, inspiring her to become a teacher. Fairy is a Certified Bikram Yoga instructor, having completed a 9-week teacher training with Bikram Choudhury in Acapulco. She also trained with Gabriel Walters in Bali, earning certification in Inferno Hot Pilates. As a passionate teacher, Fairy is inspired by her students and believes in yoga’s transformative power to heal both the body and mind. Her goal is to bring joy, inner peace, and self-love to her students, helping them live more fulfilling lives.

Vinyasa, Prenatal, Postpartum, and Chair Yoga Teacher @yogasouthcollective Trina Sotto is a wife, a full time mom, and a yoga teacher. A yoga student since 2003, she is a believer of mindfulness, and a consistent “off-the-mat” yoga practice. As a teacher, Trina aims to make every yoga class inclusive and accessible, so more people can experience the transformative power of yoga. In June 2024, Trina started her passion project, The Yoga South Collective.
Inspired by her experiences as a student and teacher in Makati – where there is an abundance of classes, students, teachers, communities, and studios – the group aims to make various types of yoga more accessible to students south of the metro; for teachers to find more opportunities; and for yoga studios to thrive.
Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, Trina enjoyed a 14-year career in media, working as a reporter, producer, and marketing head. She has served as a marketing consultant for start-up media companies.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Bim is a seasoned Ashtanga Yoga teacher dedicated to helping students build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Known for precise alignment cues and empowering energy, Bim combines Ashtanga’s discipline with creativity and accessibility, making yoga approachable for modern practitioners of all levels. His classes focus on breath-led movement and alignment, balancing challenge with compassion, and encouraging students to gently expand their limits in a supportive environment. Beyond regular classes, Bim leads workshops on yoga fundamentals, inversions, and arm balances.

Sierra Liza P. Licop, RYT 500, is a dedicated Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher with extensive training and experience. She completed her 200-hour certification at Greenpath Yoga and her 300-hour training at AV108. A loving wife, mother to three wonderful young adults, and a proud grandmother, Sierra’s yoga journey began in 2003 under the guidance of her sister, Joan P. Taylor, and brother-in-law, Ben Taylor. Her passion for teaching started in 2005 as a Kids Yoga instructor, and by 2006, she transitioned to Ashtanga Yoga. With nearly two decades of teaching experience, Sierra is committed to helping her students understand their bodies, move with ease, and prevent injury. Her approach emphasizes the importance of strengthening the body, mind, and soul, enabling her students to find balance and well-being in every aspect of their lives.

Joy is a certified yoga therapist, meditation teacher, Reiki practitioner, sound therapist, and university consultant. Coming from more than a decade of corporate experience, Joy resonates with adults who are overwhelmed and burdened by the daily grind and holds space for them to refresh and renew. As the author and mentor of BEING Skills, she co-creates a future with young adults where mindfulness and emotional literacy is normalized and used as practical tools for success. She also holds speaking engagements, delivers leadership workshops to organizations, conducts yoga retreats, and holds private classes both virtually and in-person. Her students and clients appreciate her calm presence, clear instruction, and her ability to make age-old practices relevant in today’s ever-shifting world. Joy’s teachings are characterized by a profound sense of grounding, sensibility, and perspective. Her sessions represent an amalgamation of the transformative virtues found in meditation, yoga, and restorative presence.
